What to do before your first lesson

Start off by applying for your provisional driving licence. You need to do this before you are able to start your lessons and will also need to give your driving instructor some details off of your licence to check everything is ok.

When giving your provisional driving licence details to your driving instructor, from 8th June 2015 you will no longer have be supplied with a paper counterpart when your provisional licence arrives.

The paper counterpart used to hold information about any endorsements and driving bans. All driving instructors are required to check your licence before you can drive their car.

This is simple to do and by using the link below, it will provide you with all of the information you need to do this.
