Customer Feedback

"Not for one minute would I even consider choosing another driving instructor. Dave Simmonds gave me not only the essential driving tuition I needed, but the confidence and enthusiasm needed to achieve my driving goals which led me to a first time pass, I really couldn't of done it with out you Dave! If you're still undecided on which instructor to go with, don't look any further than Dave!"

The Practical Driving Test

Your driving test will start with an eyesight check and two vehicle safety questions. The driving part of your test will last around 40 minutes. Throughout the test your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises.

You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the test.

The driving test will include the candidate performing one manoeuvre, a section of independent driving and maybe an emergency stop.
